Dr. Gregory Levitin

Dr. Gregory Levitin is an Otolaryngologist practicing in New York City for almost twenty years. He is listed by Castle Connolly as one of America’s “Top Doctors” and as a “New York Super Doctor” by The New York Times. He is recognized nationally and internationally as an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of hemangiomas and vascular birthmarks, as well as an expert on the nonsurgical management of chronic sinusitis and rhinitis.

Dr. Gregory Levitin, MD, FACS is a board-certified Otolaryngologist-Head and Neck Surgeon and a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS). He graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill and from the UNC School of Medicine. He completed his training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital Center in New York and provides comprehensive care for children and adults in all areas of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Levitin’s areas of expertise include office-based procedures treating chronic sinusitis, allergic and perennial rhinitis, snoring, nasal obstruction, and voice disorders. He also specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of vascular birthmarks in children and adults, including hemangiomas, port wine stains, venous malformations, arterio-venous malformations, and lymphatic malformations.

In addition to being board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, Dr. Levitin is a member of several professional organizations, including Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, and a member of the American Medical Association. He has authored several book chapters, journal articles, and abstracts, and has presented nationally in the field of Otolaryngology.
